Course Description

The advanced mosaic and sculpture course is an intensive program dedicated to the relationship between mosaic surface and three-dimensional form. The goal is to explore the ways in which mosaic and volume can be integrated, learning to cover sculptural forms with tiles of various materials, maintaining a balance between technique, aesthetics, and structure.

Through theoretical lectures and practical workshops, participants will study the principles of mosaic tiling on curved and angular shapes, analyzing traditional and contemporary techniques for laying mosaics on volumes. The exercises will lead to the creation of a three-dimensional mosaic work , developing compositional and experimental skills for contemporary art and design.
