Course Description

The group course in mosaic and sculpture offers a unique artistic and educational experience that combines observation, design, and hands-on creation. The program is structured in two complementary parts: the first includes a visit and analysis of the Tarot Garden by Niki de Saint Phalle, to explore how mosaic, sculpture, and architecture can be integrated. The second part takes place in the studio, where participants will create a three-dimensional ceramic mosaic project, developed from the initial sketch to the final piece.

Inspired by the works of Niki de Saint Phalle, the course invites participants to explore mosaic as a plastic and sculptural language, capable of merging form, color, and matter. Classes are held in small groups of up to 10 participants, to ensure a personalized learning experience and constant technical support. Places are limited.

Course Schedule

Day 1

Morning: visit and analysis of the Tarot Garden by Niki de Saint Phalle
Afternoon: theoretical lesson on the integration of mosaic, architecture, and sculpture; introduction to materials and definition of the personal project

Day 2

Start of practical work: modelling of the sculptural base and preparation of the surfaces for mosaic application

Day 3

Application of ceramic mosaic and completion of the three-dimensional artwork
Delivery of the certificate of participation and the completed work
