  • 1999 - Our School is born in Ravenna

    In Tessere Scuola di Mosaico was born 25 years ago in Ravenna , in 1999, from an idea of Tiziana Mondini. Tiziana, an expert in mosaic, is a master mosaicist graduated from the Professional Training Center of Ravenna, teacher and artist with thirty years of experience in the field of artistic mosaic.

  • 2002 - From Ravenna to the green Umbria

    In 2002, after several years of activity in the Ravenna area, the school moved its headquarters to the beautiful Umbrian town of Narni, finding a truly suggestive location in the heart of the city among palaces, monuments and medieval frescoes.

  • 2019 - A new location in Narni Scalo

    The school thus becomes an international center for the study , learning and deepening of all the traditional, modern and contemporary techniques and styles of mosaic art just a stone's throw from Rome.

    Increase the school's educational offering with individual and group mosaic courses and also with personalized professional paths.

  • 2020 - The Team Grows and the Project Goes Global

    In 2020, Silvia Scipioni , an expert in internationalization and the creation, development and management of digital projects, proactively joined the In Tessere project. The combination was a winning one: Tiziana's tradition, art and skilled craftsmanship merged with Silvia's contemporary, digital (but also analog and human) vision. A new multilingual website was born, along with new products, collaborations and projects, as well as expanding the school's horizons internationally.

  • 2024 - 25 Years of History and More Than 1500 Students

    Over the years, the educational offering of the mosaic school has expanded as well as collaborations with other teachers and mosaic artists.

    To date, more than 1500 students from all over the world have attended our school, choosing between short, intensive, advanced and professional courses.

Professional School of Mosaic Individual Path

Currently In tessere Scuola di Mosaico is the only school in Italy to offer an individual professional mosaic course , a personalized and in-depth course in which the teacher Tiziana Mondini personally takes care of the student's training. In this course , all the styles of mosaic, construction techniques, materials, tools and also useful elements to be able to start your own commercial activity in the mosaic field are studied in depth.

Tiziana Mondini

Born in Rome in 1975, she graduated from the Professional Training Center of Ravenna .

After a period of apprenticeship in laboratories and artisan workshops and collaborations with mosaic artistic realities in the city of Ravenna , he decided to found his own mosaic atelier and laboratory, In Tessere Arte del Mosaico , which would lay the foundations for the subsequent creation of the school of mosaic.

Tiziana immediately becomes a point of reference in the panorama of artistic mosaic for her great technical ability, refined taste and iconic versatility. Linked to the artistic traditions that allow it to guarantee excellent technical quality, it has always approached mosaic also as an artistic expression, not only as a construction and decorative technique.

The main feature of the artistic mosaic projects designed and built by Tiziana is the creation of extraordinary tile textures that transform the mosaic into a real plastic material. His works have been presented in various regional and national exhibitions, receiving mentions and awards for their originality and excellent workmanship.

Alongside the school's activities, Tiziana deals with the production of artistic mosaics for interior design, furniture and architecture projects.

In fact, for over 25 years Tiziana and her team made up of master mosaicists, artisans and artists have spread the tradition of artistic mosaic respecting the canons of the ancient artisan workshop and creating excellent and iconic mosaic works for interiors and exteriors in small and large formats .

In Tessere Arte del mosaico designs and creates unique and exclusive artistic mosaics and tailor-made projects inspired by the Italian mosaic tradition but also more modern and contemporary projects with unconventional materials for private clients, public bodies and organisations.
