Course Description

The course is dedicated to the study of the micromosaic technique applied to jewellery , with particular attention to the use of thread and Venetian glass tiles.

All the stages of the process will be analyzed: from preparing the support to creating tiny decorative compositions.
An in-depth study will be dedicated to traditional styles and contemporary expressive possibilities, to combine artisanal precision and innovation.

The practical exercises will guide participants in the creation of micromosaic jewels of refined precision .

Plan

1st day

• Morning: Presentation and theoretical lesson on micromosaic

• Afternoon: exercises and choice of subject

2nd day

• Creation of the first micromosaic jewel (approx. 3x3 cm)

3rd day

• Making the second micromosaic jewel (approx. 3x3 cm)

• Delivery of certificate of participation and of the mosaic works created
