Our mosaic kits are handmade in our workshop in Narni. They are practical tools suitable for all levels of knowledge of the art of mosaic. With mosaic kits you can build a real mosaic art wherever you are.

TOOLS INCLUDED IN THE MOSAIC KIT

  • several bags with tiles sorted by color

  • 1 bag of marble powder (for DIRECT TECHNIQUE only)

ABOUT THE COLORS OF THE MATERIALS

The colors in the photos are only indicative. The tiles sent with the kit can have similar colors but they are never identical to the sample. For example, marble is a natural material, a stone which has its own characteristics and gradient nuances which are unique.

Extremely high quality kit with fast, damage-free shipping to USA

I love all things "ancient Rome" and made a Roman style mosaic years ago with broken bathroom tiles. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to learn proper mosaic technique. Looking for a kit, I found Intessere and liked that the kits were put together by an actual mosaic school in Italy. I ordered "Scena Nilotica," which I recognized as being part of a mosaic from the "House of the Faun" in Pompeii.

The kit was delivered to Wisconsin USA in less than a week by DHL with (waviable) signature delivery and excellent tracking. Everything was beautifully packaged in strong, sealed bags (and then bubble-wrapped), and it came with professional-quality tools, high-quality color print of the design, plenty of mortar, etc. Everything is made in Italy. There's a very nice color booklet with tons of illustrations showing what to do and a link to a short video demonstrating the techniques. There was so much in the box that once I took everything out to admire it, there's no way it would fit back into the box. There's a LOT of goodies in there! The tiles are the authentic type used in Roman mosaics. This kit is a VERY good value for money.

Best of all was the excellent customer service. I had questions before and after purchase, and these were answered promptly. I'm having wrist surgery next week, so I have to wait a few weeks to get started. I will definitely order more kits from Intessere in the future.
