Mosaic kit for building a round table top+ illustrative leaflets and online video tutorial


This mosaic kit is suitable for building a round top (only the top not the structure) for a table using the mosaic technique. The drawing represents a pomegranate image. This kit includes:

  • marble tiles divided by color cut by hand;
  • n. 1 pincer for mosaic;
  • n. 1 spatula for mortar;
  • n. 1 scale drawing 1:1 of the chosen work;
  • n. 1 glass fibre net;
  • n. 1 professional adhesive (adhesive mortar);
  • n. 1 sheet of transparent film;
  • n. 1 illustrative manual (in Italian, English, French, Spanish or German) with the presentation and explanation of all the steps necessary to perform and make the chosen mosaic.
  • Unlimited access to the online video tutorial via link with multilingual subtitles

***IMPORTANT: The kit does not include the support on which to compose the table top and the structure of the table.The kit is for building only the TOP.

With this kit you can practice the art of mosaic and build a real table's top for outdoor or indoor use. The top that can be put on any type of structure (wooden or iron table structure).

Materials: marble mosaic tiles

The colors in the photos are only indicative. The marbles sent with the kit can have colors similar but never identical to the one shown in the photos. Each slab of marble, since it is a natural material, has never had the same gradation as another..

Construction technique: direct technique.

Option 1: diameter 80 cm

Option 2: diameter 100 cm

Marble: mosaic tiles in marble already cut and divided into bags according to color.

Video-tutorial: mini online course with audio and subtitles that illustrates and explains the steps to be carried out for the construction of the chosen mosaic. Video accessible via email link.

Our handmade mosaic kits are made in our workshop in Italy. They are practical tools suitable for all levels of expertise (from beginner to expert level) to practice the art of mosaic wherever you are. 

Each mosaic kit contains the materials and tools to build a real mosaic suitable for both indoor and outdoor.

TOOLS INCLUDED IN THE MOSAIC KIT

The kit includes:

  • 1 mosaic nippers for cutting tiles,
  • 1 bag with glue powder,
  • 1 silicone bowl where preparing the glue,
  • 1 measuring cup for preparing the glue,
  • 1 spatula for mixing the glue,
  • 1 metal spatula to spread the glue,
  • 1 tweezers,
  • 1 actual scale drawing of the chosen subject,
  • 1 drawing with the indication of the colors which compose the subject, each color identified by a number.
  • 1 drawing of the subject in a reduced size,
  • 1 bag with glue powder,
  • 1 bowl for the glue,
  • 1 spatula for mixing glue,
  • 1 measuring cup for glue,
  • 1 fiberglass net,
  • 1 sheet of transparent film or paper,
  • 1 bag of acrylic resin or marble reviver (only for MARBLE mosaic kits),
  • 1 PDF illustrated guide (in Italian, English, French, Spanish or German) with the step by step explanation of how to make the mosaic using the chosen technique,
  • 1 online video tutorial (unlimited views) with multilingual subtitles.

Unlimited views online videos accessible via links wherever you are. The artist and teacher Tiziana Mondini explains step by step how to proceed in the creation of a mosaic with the chosen mosaic technique.

ABOUT THE COLORS OF THE MATERIALS

The colors in the photos are only indicative. The tiles sent with the kit can have similar colors but they are never identical to the sample. For example, marble is a natural material, a stone which has its own characteristics and gradient nuances which are unique.
